I hold my breath as he turns the last knife in his hand. I see a glint in his eyes as he pulls his arm back and lets the knife fly. It comes straight at me, spinning, blade over handle. My body goes rigid This time, when it hits the board, my ear stings, and blood tickles my skin. I touch my ear.
He nicked it.
And judging by the look he gives me, he did it on purpose.

God, Pushing the Limits and Dare You To: so freaking great. PLEASE READ THEM. I’m waiting for Crash Into You to come out and complete the little trilogy but I’m not sure when that’ll happen. All I know is that it needs to be released like now.
And then Hopeless and Slammed. Holy fuck. I finished Hopeless yesterday and Slammed today and I’m starting on Point of Retreat which is the male’s POV from Slammed but seriously.
Holy shit. If you like to read, just do it. These are great. Or maybe it’s my sappiness and girlish tendencies that cry for everything and make me love them but do it anyway.
